Nintendo Has An XL Surprise For Pokémaniacs

by Jeff Cork on Mar 14, 2013 at 04:29 AM

Nintendo has revealed that it's bringing the 3DS XL's Pikachu Edition to North America in a few weeks. If the idea of having a bright-yellow handheld isn't enough, Nintendo is offering a few additional deals in an attempt to woo shoppers.

The system and a 4GB SD memory card will retail for $199.99. It hits shelves on March 24, which just so happens to be the release date for Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity.

If you register the handheld and a copy of either the new Pokémon Mystery Dungeon or Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon by April 30, you'll get a code to download one of five other 3DS games at no additional cost. Those games include Super Mario 3D Land, Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, Art Academy: Lessons for Everyone!, Star Fox 64 3D, and Freakyforms Deluxe: Your Creations, Alive!
