Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen Trailer Turns Up The Heat

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is an expanded version of the original game containing the new Bitterblack Isle area, additional skills, enemies, equipment, and a new Wizard class that just wants to watch the world burn.

Owners of the original game (read our review here) will be able to export their existing save data to continue their journey as the Arisen, while those new to the series can begin a fresh Dragon’s Dogma experience. Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen will be available on April 23 in North America.

  • Cant wait for this re-release! played the demo about 6 months ago and it was a geat new look on a mystical open world game,and notjust a "me too" Elder Scrolls game.
  • Is there anyway to just buy the "expansion"? I still have the original game, and would hate to have to buy the game again and just sell the old copy for cheap...
  • Nice!

  • I wish I never lost the game and I had money to buy the game again. I understand this is the game and more, but I want to play the game before it comes out.
  • Should be interesting.

  • I'll probably pick this up at some point, has had my interest for a while.

  • Guys there is no new class! That's just a sorcerer in a hat! You have to fix that before you get people's hopes up.
  • I'm curious what they added to this version, because in the UK the original version is rated 12, whereas Dark Arisen is rated 18.
  • I don't normally like Capcom shenanigans, but I'll be picking this one up. I had a feeling if I waited, I'd see an Super Ultimate AE version.

  • that looks awesome, I wish I hadnt sold my copy... now give me dragons dogma 2
  • Mod

    This is one of those backlog games I'm anxious to return to. Highly recommended, especially with added content.

  • Just went out and got a one-night rental of this game today, so that when I buy the expansion, I'll get the loyalty perks.

    * 100,000 Rift Crystals
    * Unlimited Ferrystones
    * Gransys Armour Pack (consisting of six brand new costumes)

    Not bad for 99 cents!
  • They added fast travel to this one, right?
  • Man I loved DD. It was my second favorite game last year. If you haven't played it yet I highly recommend picking this up. Especially since it looks to be the definitive version.
  • really wish this would come to PC :(
  • I just got that much more excited for this.

  • None of those skills were even new. It looks almost exactly like the Sorcerer class.
  • Glad for an excuse to play more dragons dogma

  • Man, this is awesome.
