The lights are on
In a post on the Wii U's MiiVerse, Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma said that Oracle of Ages and Seasons should be coming to non-Japanese territories before the Summer starts.
The link system that allowed you to share content and unlock secrets between the two games will survive the port to 3DS since it was based on entering codes between the two games. Since sharing the content wasn't a product of hardware or linking cables, it probably wasn't too difficult to bring over.

Hooray! I replayed Ages last year, but both will be a blast.
Fantastic news. I played the Oracle of Seasons like crazy back when I was young, and this further adds reason for me to invest in a 3DS.
I was not expecting this, but am utterly excited. This pretty much seals the deal that I need to buy a 3DS pronto!
sweet .. i tried ages when i was younger but somehow i hadn't understood the concept of a top-down zelda game ( only had played 3d games) idk where i'd had it since but i've wanted to go back n play it , specialy together
I think I have $23 right now. Getting a 3DS is so far off... ;_;
Oh well thats fantastic news!
If I ever get a 3ds thats just another nice little bonus for it.
I still have oracle of seasons on the gameboy color. I am really glad that this is coming to 3DS. I can't wait to play these games again.
