The lights are on
Payday: The Heist, the cooperative bank robbery first-person shooter, is
getting a sequel, and it's coming to more than just PC and PlayStation 3 this time around.
Developer Overkill Software, joined Starbreeze last year, giving them more resources to spread its game around. Payday 2 is coming to Xbox 360, something the original game couldn't claim.
In Payday 2, players will have access to the CrimeNet, which means there will be more jobs will be available, and you will be able to level up your character with earned cash. For more on the game, check out our full preview by clicking here.
The game will be available this Summer, but Overkill isn't ready to set an exact date.

Cool. Just make the console's versions better.
The first game was a reliable downloadable shooter, hopefully they can give the new one more depth, maybe even a good single player focus.
the first looked fun, cant wait to try this but ima need to play a demo first befor its released
Man! That is awesome!
This looks interesting.
Its a cool concept but I wasn't too crazy about the first one.
First one was pretty fun, had issues, but it was still fun!
Cool, might get this one.
I didn't think this was popular enough to get a sequel.
First one was alright, I hope the second one is more solo-friendly cause the poor connection quality combined with my lack of Steam friends meant I was often forced to attempt heists by myself with the rather shoddy A.I. teammates.
I enjoyed the first one, bugs and all, so I'm pretty excited for this one.
First was a fun, flawed experience. I really hope this manages to be a proper heist game. That would be amazing.
