The lights are on
EA Sports and ESPN have teamed up to allow gamers to vote for which NFL star will grace the cover of Madden NFL 25. This year's poll looks to the past, pitting all-time greats against the best players of today.
The poll, which is up and running right now, is divided up into two divisions: "New School" and "Old School." The Old School poll features some of the greatest players to ever touch a pigskin, including Joe Montana (who should just squeak out a victory over Jake Delhomme in his first round matchup), Barry Sanders, Deion Sanders, Marcus Allen, and Dan Marino.
The New School division will pit current starts like Ray Rice, Andrew Luck, Arian Fosters, and Adrian Peterson (who better beat Carson f-ing Palmer in the first round or I quit life).
You can head over to the Madden 25 voting page on ESPN.com right now and cast your votes for the first round winners. There will also be live Twitter voting from 4-5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time during the show SportsNation on ESPN 2. SportsNation will release the results of the polling each week at 4 p.m. EST on Wednesdays.

Hahah I luved the commentary Matt threw in this article. It made it more fun to read. I'll vote for the guys who deserve to be on the cover!
I vote for every player on a Madden cover to show up in some kind of cool ensemble mash-up.
Can I write in Kim's name or maybe Dan
I was a Dan Marino fan as a kid so I'd probably vote for him.
Sorry but if no wii u version I will be skipping madden. It doesn't matter who is on the cover.
