The lights are on
Sony Santa Monica's God of War: Ascension comes out on Tuesday, and many reviews are already available. Ours isn't, but it will be soon.
Unlike some games, this delay isn't due to any sort of catastrophic server error. I still want to spend more time with the game before making a final analysis. Also, I'd like to play some more of the multiplayer modes with the general public.
Thanks for waiting! Keep an eye out for our review to hit on launch day, Tuesday, March 12.

I respect this. Thank you Joe.
always a reasonable reason as always ^^
Can't wait for it, Joe!
....just admit you're having trouble with the final trial. EVERY review so far has brought it up.
I'm quite excited. You can do it, Joe!
Exactly what I thought. GI making a good review and not jumping to conclusions :)
Can't wait to get my hand on the slick Kratos statue.
Ascension is going to be awesome :D
"I still want to spend more time with the game before making a final analysis."
At least you're being open about it and letting readers know and not simply slapping a score on the game after playing it for a few minutes/hours...like is very apparent on some reviews these days.
It's really sad when reviewers won't answer simple questions about their reviews, about how much time they played a game, at least you're trying to play the game a bit more before completing the review.
If the game has a timer of sorts, try to include how many hours you played in the review if you can, that way we gamers have an idea of how many hours we can expect.
Well it's good to see GI dedicated to the quality of their review over getting one out ASAP to match others.
GameInformer.com THIS IS WHY I LISTEN TO YOUR REVIEWS AND NO ONE ELSE`S.YOU GIVE EVERYTHING A FAIR SHAKE UNLIKE ADAM SESSLER. damn sorry for caps.
Thanks for clearing that up.
Thanks for the update Joe. I was wondering why it was MIA. SimCity, I understand, but I'd figured you guys would've been through with Ascension by now... No biggie though.
