The lights are on
Microsoft may have big plans for Kinect, but one of its announced games – Matter – just fell by the wayside.
Joystiq reports that Microsoft is no longer involved with the project, with a representative saying, "Microsoft Studios is no longer pursuing this title. We have no further details to share at this time."
The game – which was a collaboration between film director Gore Verbinski and Blind Wink Games – was announced at E3 last year, but we haven't seen anything from it since.

Wow, wasn't expecting that. This game did look neat, but I guess there must be some complications or technical issues that made Microsoft push it aside.
Motion gaming isn't my cup of tea so no big whoop.
Smooth, Microsoft. Kill a title that might have helped define and legitimize the Kinect. I was looking forward to this one.
I was never too big into the kinect, probably never will be. I like to remain stationary during my gaming sessions
That sucks. The game looked pretty interesting :(
Bummer
Doesn't matter to me,done with Microsoft.
Well, there goes my only reason to dust off my Kinect and use it. Oh, well, life goes on.
I thought it looked promising. Seems they jumped the gun on the E3 announcement last year. I also don't use my Kinect much either.
Maybe it's going to be a release title for Kinect 720 Durango? Being that I don't own a 360/Kinect, how much support is the device still getting?
