The lights are on
According to Gabe Newell, prototypes of Valve's Steam Box are expected in three to four months.
Speaking to the BBC, Newell said that the company is currently concerned with the box's noise and heat generation. He also says he expects to get the prototype into the hands of consumers with different controllers so the company can gauge what they think of different control inputs – including biometric sensors.
