The lights are on
In the latest video for High Moon Studios' upcoming Deadpool game, the merc with a mouth takes over his own trailer.
The trailer comes care of IGN. Look out for lots of over-the-top action (and violence), as well as a cameo from at least one other Marvel hero. There's also a moment around the 1:24 mark, where I swear he is channeling 'Splosion Man.
Deadpool is heading to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this year.

Cable being in the game just sold me on this game I'm definitely gonna get it.
What happened to May?
I wouldn't be satisfied if there was any less absurdity from Deadpool. This game will be a fun ride for sure.
I genuinely can't tell if all the jokes are funny or stupid. Probably a little of both, if we're being honest ;) But I would certainly take a game with personality over another dull, desaturated, "Gritty" & "Realistic" military shooter set in some dumb bombed out city again. Besides, the humor isn't pushed so far as to be repellant... like, say, Bulletstorm or Duke Nukem. This just looks fun.
Stupid sometimes, yes, but fun all the same :)
And good for Nolan North to get some roles where he DOESN'T sound exactly like Nathan Drake. For awhile there, I didn't know he had range. Then he starts doing stuff like the Penguin in Arkham City, El Jefe in Sly Cooper 4, and the Kraang in the new TMNT cartoon, and it turns out he's a frickin' chameleon. A maestro. A voice-over master. I like it that way. I only want to hear Nathan Drake in Uncharted. Not in Dark Void, or Prince of Persia, or Spec Ops: the Line, or Young Justice or whatever else...
I'm drooling. I'm trying not to get too excited (Tranformers was awesome, but you never know), but I like what I see.
Hope Cablepool comes out as well
This game looks like it'll be a ton of fun.
I don't think I'd be able to play this game if he keeps doing the same one liners over and over.
Hopefully there is a demo for this before it comes out, High Moon is a great company though.
Man, this game looks freaking amazing.
I wish this comes out for PC too.
I love the voicework Nolan North does, but this time it doesn't seem right...I thought the Deadpool voice actor from Ultimate Alliance 2 was good, But I trust High Moons decision. On another note, THIS IS GOING TO BE GREAT!
This is one of the games I'm really looking forward to this year. I can't wait for the release date to be announced
