The lights are on
Rapper Snoop Dogg (AKA Snoop Lion) is providing the music for Way of the Dogg, a new rhythm-action fighting game built around music and ‘70s Kung Fu films.
Players match beats to Snoop’s music in order to take out enemies; each new level provides a different music track to lay the smackdown to.
Way of the Dogg will release on Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, and mobile platforms. Snoop is not new to the gaming scene: he was featured in Tekken Tag Tournament 2, and has helped promote sports games such as FIFA 13.
To me this sounds like Shaq Fu.
I'm actually pretty interested in giving this a shot. It's cool that they're bringing the Elite Beat Agents/Theatrhythm type gameplay to a home console instead of a portable.
I think "Snoop Fu" is a better title, personally. Reminds me of "Shaq Fu."
pa rappa the dogg. like a boss!
Def jam, fight for New York was such a fabulous fighting game that had it all surprisingly enough for a fighting game. That game was brutal, and so over the top with moves and I don't even like hip hop nor rap but kudos to them for making such a fantastic fighting game based on silly rappers. Still waiting for the alternative/rock version though.
