The lights are on
Last month, Sony introduced a new color for the Playstation Vita and dropped the price to 19,980 Yen (translating to $215). It turned out to be a good move for the publisher, as sales for the system nearly quadrupled after the February 28 price drop.
It's a nice stat for Sony, but they still haven't announced any plans to change the pricing here in North America.

Good for Sony, now only if they can make more games...
I picked up my Vita when it went on sale during the holidays. Not a single regret. I love this thing.
Im still waiting for that one kick ass game for me to splurge on this. Hopefully that game is Killzone.
I hjave played a vita, and I like it more then my 3DS in a few ways. The main thing holding me back from getting one isn't the price, it's the fact that Sony will never release anything truly worthwhile for it; just like with the PSP. At least Nintendo backs their console with all their strong IPs. Sony has God of War, Little Big Planet and Uncharted. As much As I like two of those, I wouldn't call any of them a system seller.
Mabye ill purchase one if it comes with a memory card
think they're trying to get vita's in more homes so that, like a 3rd of PS4's new features aren't completely useless?
I'll wait for that price drop to hit here. ( in the U.S. ) So I can get a over-priced memory card with it!
Do it in NA... NOW!!!
Pretty sure they'll announce a price drop at E3.
well, only time will tell.
Price drop, price drop, price drop. . .
If the price drops in North America, I will buy one. No questions asked.
I'd still be hesitant even after a price drop. I'm more intersted in PS4 integration.
