The lights are on
Mass Effect has had its fair share of miniseries comic books, but for the first time, BioWare's narrative rich sci-fi universe is getting an ongoing series care of Dark Horse Comics.
The series will be called Mass Effect: Foundation, and will be written by Mac Walters. Walters started writing for the Mass Effect universe starting with Mass Effect 2, was the story lead for Mass Effect 3, and wrote four of the Mass Effect miniseries comic books.
The content of Foundation is still a bit of a mystery, but if the images above are any indication, it looks like it won't be following the exploits of Commander Sheppard, and will focus on the mysterious red-headed woman seen above.
ComicBookResources.com has an interview with Walters about the upcoming series.

You misspelled Commander Shepard. :P
meh as well. I say meh but I may read it. doubt it will be that popular.
Somehow I am very uninspired.
Mac Walters? I'm looking forward to the retcons....
To the best of my knowledge, none of the Mass Effect novels, graphic novels and the such, did not follow the exploits of Shepard, either. Around, yes, but not directly. You have the three video game entries for that.
Interesting I guess.
No thanks, the games are just fine for me.
AWESOME
Awesome! Gonna have to put a little more into my comic book fund from now on, haha
Man, I wish I could afford comic books :( But all my spare money goes to games.
