Project Awakened Releases Unreal Engine 4 Video

by Kayla Herrera on Mar 01, 2013 at 09:45 AM

With only four days remaining on the Project Awakened Kickstarter Campaign, Phosphor Games has released a video showcasing the staggering level of detail available with Unreal Engine 4, and signed on Austin Wintory as the game’s composer.

The Unreal Engine 4, built by Epic, opens doors for the conceptually-ambitious video game by providing an enhanced playing experience. The video at the bottom of this post showcases Unreal Engine 4’s power and capability.

Project Awakened is in its final stretch with only four days left to make its goal of $500,000. Award-winning composer, Austin Wintory, will be composing the music for the title.

"Following an incredibly wonderful collaboration with Phosphor on Horn last year, it was a no-brainer for me when I first got the call about working on Project Awakened," says Wintory.  "Once I got a rundown of all the plans for the game, especially the details beyond what's been presented so far in the Kickstarter campaign, I got even more excited. I think the potential behind this game, both as a customizable player-driven game, and as a narrative experience, is very high. And our preliminary brainstorms on the music have already got my mouth watering!"
