The lights are on
Square Enix has filed a new trademark related to something called Deus Ex: Human Defiance.
An eagle-eyed NeoGAF poster has found the trademark, which unfortunately doesn't spell out exactly what Human Defiance is.
Could it be a brand-new game in the series, or perhaps it refers to a Wii U version of 2011's Deus Ex: Human Revolution (shown).
Email the author Matthew Kato, or follow on Twitter, and Game Informer.
Golly gee I hope it's ______________
I really liked Human Revolution, hopefully it's a totally new game.
I really hope it's a sequel and not the Wii U game. Not that a Wii U version would be bad, people could finally get all the DLC in one box then, but I really want to see where they can take the series.
And *grabs flameshield* I hope they reconsider multiplayer (let's face it, the first game had it and people still play it) and give the devs more time to work on the game as a whole.
I'd love a new Deus Ex game, Human Revolution was really good (except for the mediocre bosses and ending.)
If its the new Deus Ex game: FINALLY!
I'm not sure, but did we ask for this?
It's probably a prequel to Human Revolution. They're just going to keep going back in time.
I enjoyed Human Revolution, so another one is welcomed by me. Even though...I never asked for this...
I would love a new Deus Ex title! Sadly I never played the originals (I tried but they are just soooo dated), but I enjoyed the new entry greatly and I would very much look forward to seeing the next chapter in this universe.
Plz plz plz plz plz be new gaaaaaaaammmmmmmme
I finished DEHR like 3 times
My favorite game of all time
Hope it's a new game. I'm not too crazy about this video game movie crap.
Oh I can't wait for more news. HR was great despite a few flaws...
oooh, would love to see another Dues Ex: Game as I really enjoyed the game even though had a serious glitch that caused me not to be able to use scoped weapons due to the aiming reticles disappearing
DE:HR was one of the best games of the past few years. I am totally on board for a new game.
Interesting that they trade-marked it so openly as Deus: Ex. At this point, one has to wonder if it's just a spin-off or a full sequel. . .
