The lights are on
While exclusive third-party games are becoming more and more a thing of the past, there's talk that Microsoft and EA are teaming up for something for the next Xbox.
Two anonymous sources (neither of whom, unfortunately, work for Microsoft or EA) have told CVG about the partnership and that details will be announced at the upcoming Microsoft event to reveal the company's next system.
Speculation is that while it won't be for an exclusive game – EA traditionally doesn't do that – it could be for exclusive DLC content. This would certainly conform to current trends. Last week, at the PS4 reveal, Activision and Bungie announced exclusive PS4 content for Destiny, and presently, EA and Sony have a timed exclusive deal for Battlefield 3 DLC while Activision and Microsoft have the same for the Call of Duty series.

I'm willing to bet it's a timed exlusive type thing either with games or DLC.
Madden exclusivity.
Dear god..... no...
oh man i cringed so hard
At most this is going to be a timed exclusive. EA was shown at Sony's conference as a partner
Curious to see if it will be a new IP. That would certainly be different for EA.
I have no problem with this at all. Carry on gentlemen.
