The lights are on
Id and Bethesda Softworks have announced the dates for the annual QuakeCon. If you want to check out the free event, book your ticket to Dallas at the beginning of August.
More specifically, the event is from August 1-4 and it will take place at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas. This year marks the 18th anniversary of QuakeCon's legendary bring-your-own-computer LAN party, which attracts thousands of players – making it the largest such gathering in North America.
We'll have additional details on panels and guests in the coming months. In the meantime, visit the official QuakeCon site for video of past talks and more.
Email the author Jeff Cork, or follow on Twitter, Google+, Facebook, and Game Informer.
Didn't Reiner lead a panel in Quakecon 2011? Is GI involved in this one?
*starts packing luggage for the trip* :D
I didn't know that it was free to go to. Well, I'll have to get a friend to drive me a few hours to Dallas so that we can pwn some newbs!
Well, if I have nothing better to do, why not head to Dallas for a free celebration of PC nerdvanna? :D

I wish this wasn't in Texas, but I still hope they give some information on Elder Scrolls VI.
