Persona 2: Eternal Punishment Available Now On PSN

What once was a rumor, is now a Sony confirmed fact. Persona 2: Eternal Punishment is available now on the PlayStation Network.

Persona 2: Eternal Punishment originally released for the PlayStation, and it shouldn't confused with Persona 2: Innocent Sin which released for the PSP in 2011. It's one of the more difficult to find PlayStation games, so it's nice that players will now be able to check out the game without having to track down a physical copy.

Good, keep it up Atlus. I'm very interested in making Persona be my first JRPG that I play through from beginning to end. Now just add 1 and I'll have enough to play until you finally port Persona 4 to PS3. Oh, and if you instead only port it to PS4, I will be forced to headdesk so loudly you'll hear me across the Pacific ocean.

I still need to finish Innocent Sin. It does seem odd that the PS1 version of Eternal Punishment is on PSN but Innocent Sin isn't.

So, is this an unofficial confirmation we're not getting the PSP remake. Damn, I was hoping we would. At least there's some way to get it, but I would prefer the PSP remake so I won't have to deal with 'Let's Positive Thinking.'
