Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX Releases In U.S. This Fall

Square Enix has announced that it is releasing Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMix in the U.S. this fall, and fans should find plenty to like.

The game includes the Japan-only release Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix which has new missions, abilities, weapons, enemies, and more, and ReMIX also adds trophy support and an HD gloss.

ReMIX also includes PS2's Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories and a compilation of HD remastered cinematic scenes from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.

No specific date has been announced for ReMIX, but look for it on the PlayStation 3 this fall.

    Very nice. If they release a 2.5, I hope we get that as well, though by that time I'd imagine the PS4 would be out. That may hinder the chances.

    Exclusive in the PS3, huh, makes you wonder if they are ever going to share the exclusiveness so more people can enjoy this games.

    Anyone else find it entertaining that Square will likely still miss the current generation of consoles with a KH game due to the timing of this release? Why they waited this long is beyond me, they shouldn't be even remotely flirting with post next-gen releases of their flagship franchises... but hey no one ever accused Square of being good at managing their assets. Hope it comes out cross play compatible with my Vita, I'll be getting it either way though.

    This tempts me to finally purchase a PS3. The original Kingdom Hearts is one of my most favorite games. Top 5 for sure.

    Despite its complex and sometimes confusing storyline, Kingdom Hearts has always been a series that has captivated me and I have enjoyed all of the installments, primarily the core installments. I am very excited for this and will be picking it up this fall.

    Really? My husband just got me Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 for my PS2 since I had never played them, and now you tell me its coming out for PS3! Well whatever guess I'll get this one to since I dont have Chain of Memories.
