The lights are on
Square-Enix has been working to extensively retool its MMO Final Fantasy XIV. Take a look at how the world of Eorzea has changed in the game's newest trailer.
Square put together this trailer of Eorzea's many battle-ridden environments using real-time footage from Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Sign up for the beta program on Square Enix's official site.

Maybe it won't suck now.
I luv Final Fantasy.
Wow this game looks so good. I can't wait for this to come out!
I should get a PS3 or a better computer.
ah~ I can't wait to see the new FFIX.
still looks like garbage...
Well, the game always looked good, this doesn't address any of the flaws the original actually had... Hopefully there's more to come because I really want this game to succeed.
The game looks stunning. I'm sure graphics weren't a concern, and some actual gameplay would have been better. And I've always wondered if tarutarus had knees, just by the way they walk. I guess they don't...lol.
I've heard some pretty bad reports about its original version, but wow, just wow. This looks incredible. If it plays decently, Squeenix really outdid themselves with this. I guess this goes to show how NOT doing rush-jobs on games can save them. Hope this gets a console release.
The PC visuals look good; not quite sure why they showed the PS3 ones, they looked a lot worse and the video was stuttering.
This world is...beautiful.
I love the big frame drop when it switches to the PS3 version.
Seems interesting, I always liked the Final Fantasy world, maybe I will try this.
The PC version looks fantastic, the PS3 version on the other hand... Hopefully they can clean it up before launch, because that's just terrible. That's borderline unplayable. If it ran like that on my PC... I don't think I could stick with it.
looks cool. im glad its coming to ps3 too!
Yes! Very impressive. Looks great! However, when they switched back and forth between PC and PS3, it seemed that the PS3's graphics were choppy. I would get it for PC anyways.
