The lights are on
With a snowstorm covering Minnesota in white powder, it's a good weekend to stay in and play video games. Our editors will do just that this weekend, except for one who's tasked with moving.
Ben Hanson: This weekend I might try playing Ni no Kuni for a while longer. I'm not hooked yet, but it might just be that I'm not in the mood for an RPG. I'll most likely continue playing the Starcraft II campaign (as it is still brilliant), and I have Crysis 3 waiting for me on my PC. Good times. Have a good weekend!
Jeff Marchiafava: After failing miserably to get back into Far Cry 3 the past few weekends, I plan to switch my focus to a platform I rarely spend time with: PC gaming. I picked up FTL last week while it was on sale, and will also be playing more of The Bridge, a mind-bending MC Escher-esque puzzle game. Yay for indie games!
Kyle Hilliard: I'm moving, which is not fun. If anyone wants to help, by the way, I'm taking volunteers.
Kayla Herrera: Seeing as I finally used my months-old, 2000-something Microsoft Points on Silent Hill HD Collection (works great, by the way), I will be spending the weekend reliving the glory days playing Silent Hill 2, late at night with the lights turned off, and the volume cranked. Here’s to a weekend of nightmares!
Louis Garcia: I’m excited to continue watching Battlestar Galactica this weekend. I’m on the final episode of season two. If I get to play anything, it will most likely be 2002 FIFA World Cup for the GameCube. After watching a video showcasing the past 35 years of soccer video games with Matt Kato, I feel like revisiting some of the footy titles from my youth.
Taking advantage of the snow by going snowboarding. Then I'll play some Metal Gear: Rising Revengeance, Spec Ops: The Line and some Witcher 2.
I finished Dead Space 3...so i'm kinda lost as to what I should do now. I decided that i'll go back and finish my one gun playthrough of DS1 and then start up DS2 since I only remember fragments. Also today was my gf's and mine 5 year anniversary since we started dating and she bought me LittleBigPlanet for the Vita. So I guess I have stuff to do after all.
Also...the new Playstation games...were just AMAZING
I will continue playing Dead Space 3, a little Black OPs 2, and watching the first ever female UFC fight.
Far Cry 3 mostly.
Darksiders 2 still.
I'll be doing a whole lot of homework, then some studying. And maybe just a wee bit of ME3 if I'm lucky...
Some NBA 2k13 and some dead space 3, thinking about starting darksiders 2 but I dunno
Going to try and finish The Witcher 2. Got to Ch. 3 tonight. If I get to anything else, it'll probably be Metal Gear Rising or possibly Dragon Age.
I am going to being playing Halo 4, Minecraft, and hopefully finishing Portal 2.
Finishing up Dead Space 3 which is awesome even if it's not as scary as the first two. Other than that just playing Crysis 3 which I can tell will become an addiction of mine. Too bad I won't be able to play much seeing that I've got to read the first 200 pgs. of Pride and Prejudice along with an essay on them -_-. I swear my teacher plans to give my class a lot of homework whenever I get a game I've been waiting for.
Crackdown. I love running around like king kong. So fun.
I also have Halo: Reach and Gears of War 3 coming this weekend, as well as finishing Halo: Combat Evolved. Should be fun.
I'll continue my first playthrough of Borderlands 2 pretty much the entire weekend, and I'm probably gonna watch some of the Oscars on Sunday.
I can help you move........ in exchange for the GI vault.
I plan on finishing up Metal Gear Rising and Killer 7 this weekend.
If I lived close enough, I would help you move Kyle!
I'm going to play UNO and Assassin's Creed III.
I'll be working on my 12415235th replay of Skyrim this weekend, Dark Elves all the way
I'll be playing Xenoblade, that game is so f*cking fun. I need to level up more to beat the final boss, so its off to Bionis Leg and Satorl Marsh for me.
Oh, and I'm going to try and push through the god-awful ending of The Last Story.
Picked up all 3 Dead Space games and I'm enjoying it. Can't believe I waited so long to try out this series. It's great!
I just finished up Sly Cooper - wonderful game, terrible cliffhanger ending (at least Sly 5 is assured). I'm also making my way up Mundus' tower in DmC, so I'm relatively sure I'll be done with that soon too.
After the Playstation Meeting, and these videos of Bugbear's "Next Car Game" and Evolution's Driveclub, I really want to race again. So I hopped on Amazon just now and ordered a new copy of Motorstorm: Apocalypse. It's only $20 now. Man, I love buying games months after they come out. You see REAL savings if you're smart and patient like that, versus say, being an imbecile and buying used games.
Beyond that, I got Dishonored and XCOM and Valkyria Chronicles in various states of completion. I'll turn my attention to them.
