The lights are on
During the PlayStation 4 announce event, Sucker Punch’s Nate Fox took the stage to announce the latest game in the Infamous series.
After spending a minute talking about freedom and the cost of freedom, Fox asked what would happen if people developed super powers in a world where everyone is being monitored?
The trailer that followed showed a group of security guards monitoring a wall of camera footage in Seattle. Suddenly they watch their security checkpoint get attacked. One guy, who seems to be able to teleport all over the place in a flash of smoke and ash, takes out an entire SWAT team. This mysterious gentleman throws a few fireballs and then took the headset off of one of the guards and spoke to the monitors on the other side. “You are not in control.”
We loved the first few Infamous titles, so clearly we’re excited to get our hands on this follow up.

I'm impressed I always thought , they will had continued with the bad ending in order to keep the franchise alive for sequels, but it turns out that, it may be a new/fresh hero.
Really Sucker Punch did you have to say that your game was exclusively for the PS4? That's like Lions Head Studios saying their game is exclusively for the Xbox. I'd hope so seeing how you're owned by Sony. It looked meh. Still too excited for Watch Dog
Already looks better than the other 2 games.
This guy is either Cole's brother or his son...his second son....
infamous for PS4! WANT!!!
I NEED to know if cole survived. And I'm not talking some dumb cameo at the end. The main protagonist needs to be cole.
I suppose there wasn't anywhere else to go with Cole's storyline.
Well, I didn't really LOVE the first few Infamous titles, but they were okay.
Cant wait for the new infamous, looks great, I think it might be something to do with one of the endings on infamous 2, they might let you create your own superhero.
This just makes the wait for the PS4 even more unbearable.
But who's son? And who's the first son? Cole? Does he have a brother? IT'S A MYSTERY!!!
Interesting. I haven't finished one (sony gave it to me for free but now they wont let me play it) or played two yet (got it with plus though).
And of course, the universe proves me right again by doing exactly what I guessed it would.
It looks awesome!!!!
Let's celebrate, inFamous fans, we are getting our third game, f*** yeah.
I will be honest, I love this series, but I am going to be leery about this game. The reason I say this is because, while playing InFamous 2, while draining a power generator.....my ps3 power supply crapped out and i needed to send the system into sony for repair. I kid you not. So be forewarned! What goes on in game....happens in real life!
Easily the last impressive/least exciting thing shown today, in my opinion. Although InFamous is always great and Sucker Punch has yet to release anything even remotely close to a disappointment. I'd rather see a new Rocket (the Robot on Wheels) to be honest, especially after seeing Knack and imagining how great all other platformers could look on PS4, but this will likely be awesome too.
