Kingdom Hearts Receiving Browser Game

Square Enix has created countless iterations of the Kingdom Hearts franchise for multiple video game platforms, and is now adding a PC browser game to the series’ portfolio.

Siliconera says the card-battling game was exposed in Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5, which includes bonus items for the new browser game, Kingdom Hearts X[chi].

The free-to-play game tasks players with, unsurprisingly, traversing Disney Worlds. Success Corporation (developers of Metal Saga: New Frontier, Tokyo Beat Down, and Operation Darkness) is developing the title. The Kingdom Hearts series has dabbled with virtual card-battling systems before in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, and it's PlayStation 2 remake. It also had a short-lived (at least on our shores) collectible card game.

Maybe they will announce Kingdom Hearts 3 for PS4. One can only dream.

Why does Square Enix always hurt me so. I loved their games on NES,SNES, PS1 and PS2, but now they seem to lack any good ideas. They just take advantage of people's nostalgia (see their recent mobile game for proof)

When i saw the image of the logo I was excited but that excitement was diminished when i read "Browser game". Sigh, Square, you're a shadow of your former selves. Time to see what Atlus and XSeed are releasing next.

Lol wut, it's like they are seriously trying to put KH on every platform they can think of.

You can hope for KH3, but we all know that next they're going to release another spin-off on Vita, just to be consistent. I'd be okay with that though.

Thank God they are finally done with spin offs! If you play KH 3D the ending leads right into KH3. This is kinda stupid though, I mean even if you are gonna make a spin off make one that is good (like KH3D and KH BbS).

I actually still own some Kingdom Hearts TCG, very beautiful stuff, sad to see it go. Hopefully they made a card video game, I wouldnt mind buying that.
