Aliens: Colonial Marines has been generally labeled a failure by critics. One of the game’s shortcomings is the way the popular alien Xenomorphs are animated. In short: they look terribly laughable as they meander around. Too bad Obsidian's Aliens-themed role-playing game was canceled, because they got it right.

Developer Obsidian's Aliens-themed role-playing game named Aliens: Crucible was recently cancelled, but a video released by character animator Danny Garnett shows that its aliens performed all the stalking, swiping, and generally creepy movements becoming of a proper Xenomorph.

Looks good. Wish this game cam true, but Obisidion like Gearbox has/had too much on their plate.

This would've been great. I can picture it having the Xenomorph life cycle. An Alien game needs that.

I wonder if an Aliens game that played like the new X-COM would be any good. Maybe the horror element would take a hit, but I feel like it'd be a fitting gameplay style for the series.

Huh....
