Final Fantasy X HD For Vita Surfaces

During Sony's Vita event, Square Enix trotted out some new footage of Final Fantasy X HD for the handheld, showing off scant gameplay footage.

The footage below, posted on YouTube by user asdfCrocogater, doesn't show much, but then again there haven't been any details about the project since it was announced at Tokyo Game Show 2011.

A PS3 version is also in the works, but there's no word when any of these will be coming.

Should have only come out on PS3. The vita is a dying product, just let it suffocate in its own filth that is a lack of anything good.

This will not boost Vita sales at all. The Vita needs EXCLUSIVES Sony. Not ports or remakes. It needs it's own games like a God of War, Gran Turismo, Twisted Metal for crying out loud. Who am I kidding, this thing is basically a year old and you guys still don't get it. You probably never will. Oh, and reduce the memory card prices. These need to be cut in half yesterday. When a 32gb card is almost half the price of the system no one's going to take your portable seriously.

Well, haven't REALLY enjoyed a Final Fantasy game since 7 (8 was really awkward) so I might look into this. 8 threw me off so bad that I quit playing them until 13 which then....killed it for me again. For me though it doesn't get any better than Final Fantasy 4, man that game was terrific.

Well, it still sucks that there's no release date, but it is good to hear that they're still working on it. I wish it'd come out for XBOX 360 too, but no biggie.
