The lights are on
An official (Japanese) site has been launched for the upcoming Wii U title Pokemon Scramble U. It appears to be a follow-up to the WiiWare Pokemon Rumble games, and the site says it will launch this spring for Nintendo's new console.
No mention is made on the site of a North American release, but a few details are revealed. You'll be able to access a collection of 649 different Pokemon (Pokemen? Pokemons? I seriously have no idea what the plural of Pokemon is) ranging from Red and Blue to Black and White 2.
Up to four players will be able to participate in multiplayer. Check out the first screens of the beat-em-up below.

*Sigh* One of those pictures made me think it was a Pokemon DLC for Pikmin 3, or just a Pikmin-esque Pokemon game. Why hasn't Nintendo done that yet?
It would seem with all of those playable Pokemon that the moves would have to start getting generic at some point.
I'll stick to the main games.
Cool, but I am waiting for Pokemon Y.
Never played the rumble games, but a solid addition to an expanding Wii u library.
Is this an RTS?
This game doesn't distract from the fact that there needs to be a Pokemon Stadium for the Wii-u.
Way too many Pokemon, but all those pikachu look adorable!
I think I'll just get X and Y...
Not a fan of that style at all... Oh well, maybe just stick to X and Y.
Although I am a fan of pokemon, only two words describe my feelings for this game: oh no...
