The lights are on
We've known for quite some time that Telltale was working on a game based on DC Comics' Fables, but few details have been released. In a new interview with IGN, some details are revealed.
Most noteworthy is the fact that the game will not go by the name Fables. “We’re based on the property, but we’ll have a new name," Telltale co-founder Dan Connors said. "We haven’t announced it yet. We’re still hammering it out. We want to make sure that people know it’s associated with the DC comic and Bill [Willingham's] work and everything else. It’s delicate. But it won’t be called Fables."
The interview also covers the studio's commitment to a new season of Walking Dead and the adventure genre in general. To read the interview in full, head to the IGN link above.

This is a great series. I fell in love with this and I, Vampire.
Then my realization that we won't see an actual Fable sequel any time soon finally sinks in....
When will this be out?
as long as theres some LA noire style detective work as Bigby Wolf I'll be happy
A fables game? Not quite sure on that one....Bigby better be a playable character
Calling the game "Fables" could lead to confusion, so I completely understand Telltale's decision.
Knowing Willingham, I'm sure hammering out a new name is a trying ordeal for them.
Good cause I thought just from reading the title that they were making Fable 4 lol. A name change is very wise
Why not? It will help me get rid of the bad taste in my mouth that was left by fable.
If people are honestly confused or question why they would not name a game Fables, then you live under a rock.
It has something to do with the same reason ZeniMax tried to sue Mojang over naming one of their newer games Scrolls.
After I clicked the link and was disappointed this wasn't the 4th installment of Fable, I can see why they'd rather not use that name.
