The lights are on
It's been a bad week for Gearbox and Sega. Aliens: Colonial Marines immediately became a laughingstock when it released on Tuesday, with critics and gamers alike reaming the title for its obvious quality issues. From the looks of Gearbox's message board, one of those issues may involve deleted game saves on Xbox 360.
Apparently, this bug is triggered when the Xbox 360's cache is cleared. Several players loaded up the game after doing this, only to find that their game saves were nowhere to be found. Others are claiming that the same happened to them without any cache activity.
Are any of you 360 players experiencing said issue? To add to that question...why the hell are you playing Aliens: Colonial Marines?

What I don't get is how everyone went from saying it was gonna be a good game in previews to considering it one of the worst games of this generation in reviews. I mean, it doesn't even seem like it's the same game.
Even though it got such horrible reviews, I still wanna check this game out. I've been waiting for its release for a while now. I'll just borrow or rent it instead of purchasing it blindly.
Wow, more problems for the new Aliens game. It can't seem to catch a break.
It's almost as if the game is soooo bad... it refuses to be played. lol
Amusingly, people mistake this game as fun when played in co-op. They're wrong, of course. If they're having fun, it's because they're sitting down with some friends. You could play literally anything and enjoy yourself in that kind of atmosphere.
Friends =/= fun game
Still kinda wanting to try it for myself to see how it is.
lmao you know a game is bad when the game itself is stopping you from playing it.
first things first i am a massive alien fan.i installed aliens on my 360 and have not had any screen tearing,also had no problems with alien a.i there running up walls and the ceilings sneaking up behind me.im not saying this is game of the year but im enjoying it. its nowhere near as bad as everyone says it is.
Games like this are why I need gamefly.
So glad I didn't get this.
Well, they've been warned.
So if you do actually play this you have to blast through this crapfest in one run, yeah no thanks. I played a little at my friends house and it was just awful.
I'm glad I just rented this game and didn't buy it. It's fun and entertaining with a friend, but so not worth the purchase.
