The lights are on
Originally scheduled for release on May 7, Naughty Dog's upcoming The Last of Us has been pushed back to a June 14 worldwide release. The developer says that they needed a few more weeks to ensure that the promising title meets expectations.
In the statement issued to Gamespot, a Naughty Dog rep said :As we entered the final phase of development for The Last of Us, we came to realize just how massive Joel and Ellie’s journey is. But instead of cutting corners or compromising our vision, we came to the tough decision that the game deserved a few extra weeks to ensure every detail of The Last of Us was up to Naughty Dog’s internal high standards."
An unfortunate delay, but at least it's a short one.

I haven't been this excited for a game in a long time. Take all the time you need, Naughty Dog.
This doesn't bother me. I'm still patiently waiting for Bioshock Infinite.
This is a good thing! That March-May window is already packed full of games, nice to have a breather AND get a better quality product.
Give it all the time it needs. ^_^
A month is long!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
It's cool, I have my Survivor's Edition paid off.
