Supposed Gearbox Dev Reacts To Colonial Marines Reception

If you haven't been on the internet for the last couple of days, you might have missed the note that Aliens: Colonial Marines is an awful game. Plenty of terrible games get released every year, but more attention has been drawn to Aliens because of the license and Gearbox's good reputation. In an attempt to explain the quality issues, a supposed Gearbox dev has taken to Reddit.

In the lengthy post, user throwawayacm claims to have worked on the game for a year and a half. He says that 85% of the game's campaign was outsourced to TimeGate Studios, and Gearbox's main priority was clearly on Borderlands 2.
