The lights are on
Update: Today, Double Fine announced that its metal epic Brutal Legend is now available for sale on Steam. Just head over to the game's Steam page, and, for $19.99, you can start rockin'.
Double Fine Productions is releasing Brutal Legend onto PC and you can pre-order the franchise for just $14.99, 25% off the original release price. Those who have pre-ordered the game receive special privileges like immediate access to the multiplayer beta and two Team Fortress 2 items.
"Adding a PC release to Brütal Legend's list of conquests risks raising the world's ambient Metal saturation to dangerously high levels," jokes Double Fine President Tim Schafer, "which is why we're conducting this closed beta test for preorders."
You can preorder the game on the Steam webpage and get more information on the game at the official Brutal Legend website.
Loved this game to death when I had it. I played it non stop for days.
I'm getting it RIGHT NOW! This game is a world everyone should tread ate least once.
i got this game for xbox and never played it, but i feel I sould get it for tf2 hats.
Unforgettable game. Great gameplay, even better soundtrack!
good game.. but what i dont get is why people buy this for the 2 TF hats?? some people are wierd spenders.
PC gamers... ENJOY!!! :D
Brutal Legend.....oh. Yeah, I remember that. Good game.
The game is awesomely written and everything... the characters and the story are awesome... but the gameplay is kinda boring.. specially towards the end of the game where the battles become ittitatingly long... i hope they fix that... and put in some HD in it.
Honestly, I didn't care for Brutal Legend. It being an RTS didn't help either. I did enjoy the multiplayer though!
I told you not to climb on that, you stupid, mother ....
From time to time, Brutal Legend may need to utilize strong language in order to accurately portray the authentic roadie experience to the player.
*I want to hear every nasty syllable.*
It's funnier if you bleep it out.
This disclaimer cracks me up every time I play this game.
Loved this game! My only problem was the RTS parts, they were just poorly done. Maybe someone will mod the RTS gameplay to make it as fun as the rest of the game
I really wanted to like this game. There were parts I liked, but some I hated. I think it just tried to do too many different things. 3rd person action, exploration, driving/racing (I HATE racing), RTS, etc....
The RTS should have been better than it was, but the restriction of only being able to command units you were near really, really sucked.
I loved this game. This is an interesting design decision as well. I am also surprised that it is just now coming to PC. I had no idea they were working on it.
This game was not that great. But that is just my a##hole.
Good for them
Nice price for PC fans, but honestly, isn't it pretty darn time?. . .
Um, GI, this has been on the interwebs for a while now. In fact, wasn't there already a GI article even on this?
