Avalanche Studios Founder Leaks First Possible Mad Max Image

Christofer Sundberg, founder of Avalanche Studios, teases a picture on his Twitter that could quite possibly be the new Mad Max.

Rumors have been flying around that Avalanche Studios is working on the new Mad Max game based on the new film, Mad Max: Fury Road, launching in 2014. Other assumptions of the mysterious Twitter image point to the new Just Cause 3. Neither has been confirmed. Both games have been rumored to be in development for a while and Avalanche is staying tight-lipped after announcing their switch to developing games for next-generation consoles only. It is unsure when the official announcement for either game will be.

These were some of my favorite movies growing up and I'm psyched for Fury Road!

The Fallout games and a lot of games in general owe a great deal to the Mad Max franchise. Can't wait to see what Avalanche has in store for us :D

Edit: If a Mad Max game is in fact in development I'm glad Avalanche is handling it. If anyone can pull off vehicular stunts/combat/jumping from moving vehicles to other vehicles, it's them.

Either way, this is great news! A Mad Max game? YES. Just Cause 3? YES. If it's Mad Max, I hope it's open-world. I'm sure it would be, though. It has to be.

Just Cause 2 was amazing, and I think Avalanche could make a good Mad Max game. I just hope Just Cause 3 is as good as 2.

Wasn't a big fan of Just Cause so hopefully it's Mad Max. The image is a little grainy, but past the blur is an epic game waiting to come out.

Honestly looks like it could be either a Mad Max game or Just Cause 3... this is a difficult one to solve!

That would make sense given the Tom Hardy reboot coming our way soon, but really, the picture's WAY too blurry to tell anything for certain. I know that Mad Max fans are gonna want to rave for any kind of game, but a guy on a motorbike in the middle of nowhere hardly proves anything. I'm betting it's Just Cause 3 rather than anything else.

Hopefully it's a new Just Cause!! I'm really wanting Just Cause 3.
