The lights are on
Warner Bros. Interactive is preparing the release of another Batman Arkham game. According to a company executive, that new game is slated for 2013.
John Martin, chief financial officer and chief administrative officer at Warner mentioned the game during an investor call.
"[W]e also have a strong games release this year, which will include the next release in the Batman Arkham franchise," he said. "So all in all, we expect Warners to post another very strong year in 2013. And with a little luck, the year should be as good or maybe even a little bit better than 2012."
That opens the doors to some healthy speculation. Is he talking about the rumored Batman game from a while back that's set during the Silver Age? Could it be associated with one of the domain names that Warner registered last month?
VG247 cites unnamed sources who say that Rocksteady isn't working on the next Batman game. Could we be looking at something resembling the Call of Duty model, where Activision has two teams alternating between annual releases? If something is indeed coming this year, we'll be hearing more details soon enough.

Looks like I need to get Arkham City. Looking forward to it, as long as Rocksteady is going to be doing it. If not, no thanks, I'll stick with the other two.
my back log of games have taken over in my room, I'll get this maybe
New Batman. Woo. New Dev. We shall see.
This is hands down my most anticipated game of 2013, I was really looking forward to it being announced during the Spike VGA's.
This place is dangerous... I like it!
No prequel. Please...
This better be more like 343 with Halo or Treyarch with Call of Duty than Team Ninja with Metroid or Rare with Star Fox.
