The lights are on
Not even a month after its Kickstarter debut, Gas Powered Games has canceled the Kickstarter due to bigger concerns.
"At this point," reads an update on the game's Kickstarter page, "it makes sense for us to focus our attention on other ways to keep Gas Powered Games running."
CEO Chris Taylor, however, sounded optimistic that things would turn around. "And if all goes well, which I think it will," he said in an update video, "I'll be able to give you all some great news in the weeks ahead."
For more on the game, take a look at this video preview. Hopefully we haven't seen the last of this game and the developer.

Smart move
When I watched the original explanation a few weeks ago, it sounded like they were treading water. It sounds like they're drowning now.
Man, I hope Gas Powered Games gets out of the hole. They have made some good games in the past.
This seems like a PR move. Why ask for so much money to make an indie game that looks like a whole bunch of games that have been released before?
Sad to see any developer struggling.
:(
Darn.
God, not another dev about to go under. This economy/insane amount of money needed to make a game is killing the industry's smaller guys. Sad stuff
Which basically means, they ran out of money.
