The lights are on
Bethesda has announced that PS3 owners can now download Skyrim's 1.8 patch, one day ahead of the long-awaited release of the game's Dragonborn DLC.
In addition to preparing your game for the new DLC, Update 1.8 also fixes a few bugs, as outlined on Bethesda's blog:
Dragonborn will be available tomorrow, February 12, followed by Hearthfire on February 19, and Dawnguard on February 26. All three DLC packs were released last year on Xbox 360.

Have waited so long to hop back into Skyrim. Yay.
*sigh* I'm already broke and need to buy my husband something for valentines day and now this happens. How am I supposed to not buy this DLC? Fml, and f you to Bethesda for taking my money!
I play Skyrim on PS3, but I could not care less about this. They waited too long, and they lost a few sales because of it.
Better late than never I guess.
This is totally great!
Nah, Im good the whole experience left me jaded. I'll stick to my Persona 4 Golden for now.
As an xbox gamer I can tell you that the DLC is well worth it. Enjoy!
About time! God dang that took forever! I was beginning to think they didn't give a shite about the PS3 players.
at last we'll have revenge...
I have downloaded the Skyrim's 1.8 patch and i'm ready for the new stuff.
About time jesus. Better late then never though.
Still grumpy that the german and I think french DLCs won´t be available till the end of the month. I was really looking forward to sinking some hours into Dragonborn...
I forgot I had this game....
I mean its been over a year since I played it last (really, completion/platinum date is 1/31/12).
