Closure Free For PlayStation Plus Members Tomorrow

Sony has announced that the indie hit Closure will be free to PlayStation Plus members starting tomorrow.

The stylish puzzle/platformer was the Grand Prize winner at 2012's Indie Game Challenge, and also won an award for Excellence in Audio at the Independent Games Festival back in 2010. Closure has been available on PSN since last March, but will now be free to PlayStation Plus subscribers. Check out the trailer below to get an idea of the unique gameplay.

  • Interesting. I really like the art style, very striking.

  • I never played this, and I'm a Plus Member, so this is a no-brainer.

  • How have I not heard of this? If only I was a plus member. I may just have to pick this up anyway.

  • Playstation Plus just keeps getting better and better.
  • Sadly the first thing I thought of was all the studios Sony has closed lately.

  • Very good game.  And quite a brain scratcher in some parts.

  • Wow, this looks awesome! I love the Limbo/Unfinished Swan-esque art style. The music has kind of a Metroid vibe. Is this available for Vita owners?
  • Sweet. Thanks Sony!!!

  • Awesome!  I almost bought this twice in sales, but I wanted to wait until I finished some other games.  This is great news.

  • I thought this meant PS+ was ending...
  • Great time to buy PS plus. They got a deal on right now for a year

  • GUYS! You should play this game! One of my favorites from last year and nobody played it. Also make sure you look around with them spotlights...

I was late to the party on Limbo, so it didn't really strike the nerve it did for some people. Closure is my Limbo.
  • Hear that Microsoft? FREE game. When was the last you made such a gesture, eh? I pay my Live subscription *grumble grumble*
  • Looks awesome.

  • Sweet! I plan to start downloading it tomorrow then.

  • Played it and beat it, awesome puzzle game.

  • Sleeping Dogs for EU PS+ members vs Closure for US members this week. I would say EU got the better piece of the pie this go around. Not interested in Sleeping Dogs personally but it does beg the question on how does EU PS+ get more recent or larger scale titles than US PS+. Maybe they don't have as much to offer, but I dunno. Ah well Closure is a pretty cool game though (got on Steam)
  • Having two years of Playstation Plus status under my belt, I'm sad to say I won't be resubscribing to their services. The program isn't bad, I just have some issues with how North America gets treated compared to other territories. Yes, we do get good thing with each update, but I don't see how it makes up for what other countries have been getting lately. Games I really want but can't afford. (My own opinion)
  • Already have this on Steam but thanks anyway Sony.

  • I played the demo for this but it didn't really stick in my head nnor make me want to play further. However, free is free my friends.
