The lights are on
Electronic Arts' PC download service is no longer exclusively for PC games. Now you can use it download Mac compatible games, as well.
Along with all the requisite features from the PC version of Origin, like cloud saves and social networking options, you will also be able to buy a game once and play it on either operating system. As long as the game is compatible with both Mac and PC platforms, you only have to buy the game once to get both versions.
This isn't the full list, but at the moment EA has confirmed that Dragon Age 2, Batman: Arkham City GOTY Edition, LEGO Harry Potter, and The Sims 3 are all downloadable for Mac.

My only experience with origin was that of a forced one with a game I cant remember some time ago. It never struck me as that fantastic
YAAAAAY says all 0 Mac gamers.

"Yay!!! I can't wait to download EA Origin to my computer!!!!!"
SAID NOBODY, EVER!!!

Now if only make the interface less awful and figure out how to price their own first-party games.
I am sure that 7-10 people are really happy about this. Keep up the good work EA.
Origin... on a Mac...
I'm guessing this is why I can't find dead space 3 on steam... Guess I'm gonna have to get DS3 for Xbox.
At least EA knows about the number 3.
Still doesn't mean it doesn't suck.
