The lights are on
Assassin’s Creed fans may have finished Ubisoft’s latest game in the
series, but soon they’ll be able to buy the game's characters in action figure form.
McFarlane Toys announced a partnership deal with Ubisoft to bring seven figures to life from Assassin’s Creed III, including Connor and Haytham Kenway. Each figure will stand about six inches tall, feature 25 points of articulation, and come with a download code to unlock content in the video game.
“We're always looking to raise the bar with our figures, and Ubisoft has been a great partner to help make that happen,” says Todd McFarlane, CEO and founder of McFarlane Toys. “These will be the first McFarlane Toys to include integration with the game itself. Our Assassin's Creed figures will include codes that unlock unique content in game – things like new weapons, clothing colors, or other customization options. Features like this reward the hardcore fans who buy the figures, and give collectors some added value."
The action figures will retail for $14.99 to $16.99, and will be available at major retailers. No release date is set, but prototypes for the figures will be shown at the International Toy Fair Show on February 10-13.
so the DLC included in these are completely exclusive? or is it just for now and it will release on PSN, XBLA etc later? I remember Mortal Kombat doing a similar thing with the blu ray of the MK film :P
Will we get multiplayer characters? Those are the only ones i will pick up as i already own the collectors edition statue of Connor!
That's pretty cool. I've enjoyed their Halo figures so I'll probably pick up some of these as well.
Wish his skin tone was a little darker =/ ya know like it was in the game.....
2and give collectors some added value.s
Where's charles lee's figurine!
Nice looking. Connor's face is ten times better than his stupified game one. . . no, wait, never-mind.
Man Mcfarlane lost his taste. He used to make awesome figures if not the best.
Not a fan of this one. The one that came with my Freedom Edition though is unexpectedly awesome.
I'm not a McFarlane toys fan, especially the recent stuff (Walking Dead were atrocious)
The NECA Player Select Ezio and Altair were impressive. NECA Player Select and Play Arts Kai should have ALL of the video game action figure licenses.
He doesn't look like conner though.
