McFarlane Toys Creating Assassin’s Creed III Figures

by Louis Garcia on Feb 06, 2013 at 06:30 AM

Assassin’s Creed fans may have finished Ubisoft’s latest game in the series, but soon they’ll be able to buy the game's characters in action figure form.

McFarlane Toys announced a partnership deal with Ubisoft to bring seven figures to life from Assassin’s Creed III, including Connor and Haytham Kenway. Each figure will stand about six inches tall, feature 25 points of articulation, and come with a download code to unlock content in the video game.

“We're always looking to raise the bar with our figures, and Ubisoft has been a great partner to help make that happen,” says Todd McFarlane, CEO and founder of McFarlane Toys. “These will be the first McFarlane Toys to include integration with the game itself. Our Assassin's Creed figures will include codes that unlock unique content in game – things like new weapons, clothing colors, or other customization options. Features like this reward the hardcore fans who buy the figures, and give collectors some added value."

The action figures will retail for $14.99 to $16.99, and will be available at major retailers. No release date is set, but prototypes for the figures will be shown at the International Toy Fair Show on February 10-13.
