The lights are on
2011's Dead Island game from publisher Deep Silver and developer Techland has done very well for the two companies.
The game has hit the five million sales mark worldwide including traditional retail and downloadable copies sold.
If you haven't experienced Dead Island yet, perhaps Tim's review will convince you to join in on the fun.
Dead Island Riptide is coming April 23 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. Check out the game's Rigor Mortis Edition here.

I haven't played Dead Island. I might check out Riptide though.
This game wasn't that great, but it wasn't truly awful. I was able to play it from start to finish, I'll give it that much. But I'm glad I only spent $20 on it.
Kind of surprised it sold 5 million copies. Then again, it does have zombies in it...
Good for them!
I preo-ordered it back then, I had a lot of fun with it.
I rented the game of the year edition, and I couldn't stand the analog controls So I returned it. Then i watched the trailer to Dead Island Riptide and I instantly downloaded the game on my PC where I found out I could switch from analog to digital controls. The next day I bought a physical copy for Xbox and now I'm addicted I even convinced my friend to buy it now we both play it non stop! I CANT WAIT FOR RIPTIDE!
I payed my friend $15 for it and i enjoyed it. I wouldnt pay much more for it though. Kinda surprised its sold so many copies officially.
good. perhaps the next will be more polished.
One of the most boring games i have ever played.
