Skylanders Swap Force Debut Teaser Trailer

We found out about the latest entry into the Skylanders series this morning, and now we have a little bit more to go on with a new trailer.

You'll see just a few of the 250 combinations you will be able to use in the game, and it's all set a classic Fatboy Slim soundtrack.

We still don't know exactly when the game will be releasing, but it will be this year. Presumably we will find out more about the game when it is shown at the NYC's Toy Fair 2013 on February 10.

I kinda wanted to check out the series, but this puts 'em thoroughly in the land of cash grab franchises. Giants is, what, like three months old?

Unfortunately I fell for this and got Skylanders Giants. I gotta admit the game is fun, but my wallet keeps glaring at me.... and I think it stares at me in my sleep.

I got the concept after the first time they swapped parts so I don't really know why they felt the need to make a 2 minuted video. I guess they wanted to use the whole song or something.

What a great concept. Could you guys imagine how cool it would've been to put our TMNT figures into our Nintendo games. I would've had a mindsplosion as a child. Skylanders is actually a really solid game too.
