Morgan Freeman Cosplays Gordon Freeman In GTA IV Mod

Have you ever noticed that Gordon Freeman, silent protagonist of the the Half-Life series, and academy award winning actor Morgan Freeman have very similar names? And that neither has anything to do with the Grand Theft Auto series?

The mod seen in the video below comes from YouTube user wapeddell, who has posted a number of strange GTA IV mods, including one that places Far Cry 3's Jason Brody and Vaas in the urban jungle of Liberty City and the new Devil May Cry's Dante. This Morgan Freeman/Gordon Freeman/Half-Life 2 mod, however, may their most inspired. Making all the police officers Combine soldiers is a nice touch.

    This and the BTTF mod are my only reasons for wanting GTAIV. And this is obviously a sign that the Tuesday cover is HL3. :P

    Morgan Freeman needs to be hired for some kind of game, no matter what it is I would buy it.

    Great :D Just great! The expression his face is just boss :D He is like "It's cool mothafucka, it's all cool" all the while he is killing troopers :D Wish they had gone the extra mile though, and done something about his voice !

    No, no, no, it wouldn't work because Gordon doesn't talk and you can't leave out Morgan Freeman's dulcet tones.

    I always thought of him as the G-man because... well... uhh... I don't know, just because their names are similar doesn't mean you should cross the streams!
