The lights are on
Update: Square Enix has outlined a handful of details for the newest Sleeping Dogs DLCs.
The Movie Masters pack adds three new outfits and the Law Enforcer pack gives players two cop outfits, a new weapon and five police vehicles. The Wheels of Fury DLC gives Wei Shen access to a weaponised supercar, the DZS-90. Completing the missions in Wheels of Fury outfits the car with upgrades that include firepower and armor. The Monkey King pack turns Wei Shen into titular Monkey King, giving him a character specific vehicle, and a two-handed staff used to fight the demons of the Hong Kong underworld.
Finally, the Year of the Snake DLC is fully outlined. Here's the full description from Square Enix:
Wei Shen’s story continues in Year of the Snake as he rejoins the ranks of the Hong Kong Police Department in a series of new missions set immediately after the main game. A vicious end-of-the-world cult is taking root in the back streets of Hong Kong… the Cult of the Snake. Hell-bent on cleansing the city of its evils, they cannot be negotiated with as they pursue a path to their righteous salvation. With an arsenal of weapons, including teargas guns and electroshock pistols, new outfits and abilities, Wei must enter a race against the clock to bring the cultists to justice before Judgment Day.
A leak occurred recently outlining some details about the upcoming DLC for Sleeping Dogs, and now Square Enix has released a few screens – but we still don't know much.
Five new screen shots have appeared on Square Enix's press site. You can check them all out in the gallery below, and they have names like Year of the Snake (seen above, and referenced in the aforementioned leak), Wheels of Fury, and the Law Enforcer pack. There are also new screens for the Movie Master pack and the Monkey King pack, which released on January 29.
