The lights are on
The PlayStation 3-exclusive Ni No Kuni came out last week, and if you've been loving the game (or even if you haven't), you should check out the PlayStation Store on February 12 for a surprise.
Publisher Namco Bandai has revealed that players can download the Draggle familiar, which was previously unavailable in North America, free of charge. Considering how most publishers try to milk every cent out of post-release content, this is a welcome bit of generosity.
To celebrate the announcement, Namco Bandai has released a new trailer for Ni No Kuni, which you can watch right now:
Are you playing the game? Will you pick up the DLC on the 12th?

Hooray for not trying to pinch pennies off of your consumers/fans!
i don't have this game but i played the demo i might get it :) regardless i always download free stuff even if i don't have the game.
I really hope Japanese gaming returns to its former glory. This a great step in the right direction.
A masterpiece of a game in every way.
This game is amazing and free dlc's just icing on the cake!
More people really should check this out...
50 positive reviews and 4 mixed reviews on Metacritic. Way to be on the wrong side of history GI.
Great game! Nearly beaten though, so the DLC is a bit late for me, but I'll download just in case I ever pick it up again. My only issue with the game I've had so far is actually with some of the story delivery. This trailer is gorgeous and very cinematic and it was that kind of presentation that made me purchase the game. So I guess I was a little *ahem* "broken-hearted" to discover most of the game's story and dialogue takes place in a text box. Other than that, absolutely superb. If you're on the fence, I'd give it a go!
This game may not make my top 10 of 2013 list once the year is over, but I'm absolutely loving it, and I highly recommend it to any JRPG fan.
Wow, that was remarkably quick and awesome.
I haven't got the game....yet. Free stuff is always good.
Ni No Kuni is awesome. I'll be getting dlc so long as it adds more play time.
Picking this game up after work today. I'm not normally an Anime fan, but adored movies like Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle. The game's been getting pretty stellar reviews, except for GI's, which was a lower 7.
Gotta try this sometime. . .
More Ni No Kuni for free? I'm getting this!
