The lights are on
According to a report, there are more layoffs involving Disney Interactive – 50 staffers have apparently been let go across different locations.
An LA Times report says that the news comes from a "knowledgable person not authorized to discuss the matter publicly."
This happend yesterday, the same day that Disney shut down Epic Mickey series' developer Junction Point Studios.

Good. As much as I liked the Epic Mickey games, they had it problems. Hopefully this will have them making better games.
Disappointing, to be sure. As long as the Kingdom Hearts franchise is intact (which it likely is, considering Square Enix is primarily in charge of that), then I guess I'm okay.
Its not a good idea anyway
Jeez jobs being lost everywhere lately, it's getting depressing : /
No surprise here, they just spent $4,000,000,000.
Well, they did just pick up Lucasarts. Not that Lucasarts has had a great track record for several years....
We need Lucasarts to start making real games again, like say Battlefront III, reboot of Rouge Squadron, X-Wing Vs Tie Fighter, Empire At War, Dark Forces, Imperial Commando (Republic) all of these games sold well and could do with a sequel -reboot. BRING THEM TO US NOW!!!!!!
