The lights are on
Find out who wins the HarBowl and whether Colin Kaepernick can lead the Niners to victory in the biggest game of his life in EA Sports' Madden NFL 13 sim of Super Bowl XLVII.
According to the sim, the Baltimore Ravens wil beat the San Francisco 49ers 27-24 thanks to a 40-yard field goal by rookie Justin Tucker with 50 seconds left to play.
The Ravens never trailed in the sim; holding a 24-10 lead at the beginning of the fourth quarter. The Niners mounted a comeback, tying the game on a Colin Kaepernick pass to Vernon Davis just before the two-minute warning, and they could have outright won the game with 17 seconds left, but Ed Reed intercepted Kaepernick in the end zone on the Niners' final drive. An earlier 50-yard missed field goal back in the third quarter that could have tied the game also came back to haunt them.
Kaepernick was held in check all afternoon, running for 48 yards on six attempts (with his longest run being 15 yards), and Ravens QB Joe Flacco excelled, going 19 of 27 for 260 yards and two TDs. Both teams' running backs, Ray Rice for the Ravens and Frank Gore of the Niners, went for just over 100 yards rushing apiece.
This is a far cry from the Texans-Bears Super Bowl the game spat out in a one-off sim we conducted at the start of the season.

i hope this is true
This might be one of the first Madden Superbowl sims that I would actually believe. But I'm still rooting for the 49ers.
Now that would be an ending.
I've was doing this last weekend on Madden 13. I managed to beat Baltimore twice, but only beat San Fran once...
The game can predict which storyline reads better to the NFL execs? :p
49ers fan here, so of course my prediction is without bias. 28-23 49ers.
I want the 49'ers to kick some but. But it'll be a great game either way!
This sounds about right actually
I think I'd prefer Baltimore to win cause I sorta like the Seahawks and the miners are in the same division .
But really I don't care too much . Just hoping for a good game.
If the game is decided in the last minute, I'll enjoy it either way!
If the 49ers hadn't brutally beaten the Packers, I'd be cool with them winning, but now GO RAVENS!
