The lights are on
Normand Corbeil, best known in the world of video games for his work with Quantic Dream composing the music for Heavy Rain, has passed away at 56.
The sad news comes from 8bitfix.com. Corbeil was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in August of 2012, and he passed away on Friday January 25. Corbeil did music composition work for many films, and won many awards for his work, including BAFTA and AIAS awards for his work with Heavy Rain. That's really sad to hear.
The soundtrack to Heavy Rain was one of the main reasons the game affected me so profoundly.
He'll be remembered for that brilliant soundtrack, at the very least.
Aww Man. I loved Heavy Rain's soundrack. It's what made the moments so intense, or so touching.
