Maybe you can rack up some air miles with Splinter Cell: Blacklist. Ubisoft's upcoming $169.99 collector's editions for Splinter Cell: Blacklist has some meaty extras.

Publishers are always trying to pack in some sweet bonuses with video game collector's editions, but this might take the cake. In addition to the game, Splinter Cell: Blacklist's Paladin Multi-Mission Aircraft Edition comes packed with:

  • A 88-page Splinter Cell Echoes graphic novel
  • A poster
  • The Billionaire's Yacht co-op map
  • The Upper Echelon DLC Pack containing the Dead Coast co-op map and the Gold Sonar Goggles and Upper Echelon Suit in-game items
  • A radio-controlled version of the Paladin airplane that Sam Fisher uses as their aerial headquarters

    I'm not a big fan of collector's edition with radio controlled stuff, I'd rather have cool statue/figurine. I'll probably pre-order the game though.

    Holy overloaded collectors edition batman! This sure is qutie the robust package. Hope it's better than the Blops 2 CE. The dragonfire rc copter was pretty low quality.

    This is definitely one of the better CEs to release in a while. It at least seems to be worth it's price tag.

    I'd like to see a slightly more budget edition, with most of the same stuff, minus the plane. The plane doesnt interest me at all. Whereas the poster and graphic novel and in game items do.

    That's pretty cool, but it's not really something I'd plunk down the money for. I'm a statue/figure guy, which is why I'm getting the Tomb Raider Collector's Edition and The Last of Us Post-Pandemic Edition. That plane would look cool on my gaming statues shelf though.

    Where's my night vision goggles, almost 7 games and still no night vision goggle replica?! GRRRR I'm getting Standard just to spite you UBISOFT! Bu that plane is nice....
