The Last Of Us Demo Announced With Early Access For God of War: Ascension Owners

Today Sony announced a demo for the highly-anticipated Naughty Dog project The Last of Us. Details are limited, but we do know that the demo will feature a single chapter of the game and will be available to owners of God of War: Ascension before everyone else.

To access it, all you need to do is pop in your God of War: Ascension disc, and The Last of Us appears on the main menu. Once you select it, details are listed on how to get the demo once it becomes available.

Unfortunately, there is no word when exactly the demo will hit for either God of War: Ascension owners or the general public, but it's encouraging to know stepping into the post apocalyptic world early is in reach.

God of War: Ascension is scheduled for a March 12 release, while The Last of Us will launch on May 7.

Still not buying the game. I dislike the multiplayer, and prequels never interest me. I'm not spending 60 dollars for a demo.

I only buy ps3 exclusives and everything else for pc or 360. I plan on getting both games, so for me at least this is a brilliant move.

Nice but I've never been big into the God of War series so I'll just wait for the release date to get my Survival Edition of The Last of Us. Besides I'd like keeping it a surprise.

YES I can't wait to play this new Uncharted game, it looks awesome! On a more serious note I really disliked the Uncharted series and while this is similar with it from looks alone it looks like an amazing game. Hopefully they have decent AI as Uncharted had the worst AI of all time, at least to me anyway. I will wait for every review site to give this game a 10 off pure hype and then play it to find it's more like a shiny 7, chock full of cut-scenes and auto-aim just like Uncharted, then it will get GOTY. While they were fun games I just couldn't get what all the fuss was about, maybe it's because I just played all 3 not long ago, and didn't play them when they FIRST came out idk. This game does look really nice though and does intrigue me, and I really need something to dust my PS3 off, well Ni No Kuni could do that as well I guess.
