The Coming Industrial Revolution of BioShock Infinite

Declare your allegiance to the Vox Populi or the Founders in the pre-order BioShock Infinite game Industrial Revolution. Take a look at this new trailer for the browser game and the other assorted pre-order goodies.

The game, developed by Lazy 8 Studios, is similar to the studio's Cogs title, where you must arrange gears and pulleys to get past more than 70 puzzles.

It's free for anyone who pre-orders BioShock Infinite, which also grants you three in-game boost items, 500 silver dollars, and five lock picks. The Industrial Revolution game itself also lets you unlock stories in Infinite as well as pledge your allegiance to one of the game's warring factions on Facebook.

BioShock Infinite comes out for PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 on March 26.

  • Pre-order for an online browser game...?
  • Cool.....

  • Go Founders!!
  • Sounds a bit fun. It's free with a preorder anyway.

  • I love when cheese runs across my glorious lips...

  • Looks good.  This might be one of the few games I actually pre-order.

  • Loving the fact that game companies are building more and more relatable material for their games. Brining even more depth and life to the world they are creating. Delving into the history of these fabled lands is a huge part of being a nerd.

  • Umm... This has been out since late last year, probably around October-November. And for anyone who played it, they already knew they got all this stuff... But anywho, I played it way back and I believe I finally agreed with the Founders in the final choice! I tried to keep it in a perfect balance but it just didn't work!

  • I guess its pretty cool. Not exactly an incentive to pre-order, but if I did, I'd gladly take it

  • What a coincidence, I just started playing this. It's really fun.
It's a good strategy game, plus, you receive in-game items for playing it so it's a win-win situation.
  • This has actually been available for a while now. I beat most of the levels, didn't go all the way for the Facebook stuff though (since I don't use FB). It's not a bad puzzler, but I still wish they had some more substantial pre-order stuff. These items will no doubt be handy in my playthrough on PC, but I still have some doubts as to how well they'll serve me in the game.

  • Yeah, it's not too shabby. Doesn't hold my interest for long, but it's still entertaining. Wasn't thrilled to hear it was an online browser game, but it's pretty cool I suppose.

  • I swear if this game is delayed again they might as well go next gen.

  • Yummy.  This game is going to be great.

  • I already pre-ordered a while back....but do you hafta play the browser game to get all that stuff?

  • Intriguing.

  • Woot.

  • Best rated FPS of all time, huh? Says who? Metacritic has the original Bioshock as 5th, (or tied for 2nd, depending on how you look at it). Metroid Prime, Halo, and Perfect Dark all scored higher.

  • Looks great but I'll pass on all the 'bonus' items with preorder.  All of the items you get in the game anyway.

I look forward to the days that 'bonus' items are exclusive and can not be gotten in the game that enhance the game, not just your characters look that you almost never get to see.  Maybe 'free' DLC for those who preorder, that sounds way better.

    :)
