The lights are on
From the looks of Twitter, THQ has begun the process of laying off members of its staff. Several (now former) THQ staff have publicly declared their new unemployed status, and you can see some of them below.
Mathew Everett (@sledgehammer70) - Darksiders II and Company of Heroes teams
It's been great almost 2 years with THQ... Best of luck to all my awesome co-workers, we know how close we were to rocking it big time.
Ben Cureton (@verytragic) - Vigil Games lead combat designer for Darksiders and Darksiders II
Anyone looking for a designer? =)
Neal Pabon (@NealPabon) - PR/Marketing
Aaaaaand that's a wrap. If you know anyone interested in hiring a Marketing/PR specialist, feel free to give me a shout!
Haydn Dalton (@haydndalton) - Vigil Games lead designer for Darksiders and Darksiders II
It's a wrap.
Jeremy Greiner (@JG_CHEFS) - PR/Marketing
And that's a wrap. It's been great 3-year ride with THQ, good luck to everyone moving forward.
More news is coming in quickly, so keep an eye on the site in the coming hours.
