The lights are on
In today's Nintendo Direct presentation, the company whetted gamers' appetites with the announcement of two new Mario titles for the Wii U.
A 3D Mario title (developed by the team behind the Mario Galaxy games) and a new Mario Kart will both be heading to the system.
Furthermore, both of them will be playable at this June's E3 convention.

I'm more excited about the new 3D Mario game than I am about a new Mario Kart. I feel like it's been way too long since I played a Mario game that didn't feel like recycled platforming. I loved New Super Mario Bros. U, but I don't think I'll be 100%-ing that game again any time soon. Too much of the same gets boring after a while.
I was expecting this. I'm glad it was finally announced.
Go Nintendo, giving the players what they want. Another Super Mario Galaxy will not disappoint.
What a new 3D Mario and Mario cart. Im shocked.
The WiiU is more promising every day. I'll have one by the end of the year.
